Cat has released Flexport Tyres for wheel loaders.
The solid tyres have a ported design for flat proof operation in severe applications such as in mines and quarries.
Each tyre features elliptical holes molded through the outer ring of the sidewall for greater flexibility and stability.
The Flexport tyre is constructed from improved rubber compounds for longer wear and utilises a smooth tread design with rounded tyre edges for enhanced durability.
Unlike other solid tyres, Flexport can be used on unimproved surfaces.
The tyres will be released by Cat during the second and third quarters of 2010.
