Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies will showcase three new technologies to combat problems with mine water on Stand 1062 during the 2008 Goldfields Mining Expo (GME).
The company will feature the Actiflo turbo clarification system, which has a new Turbomix and is designed to enhance flocculation efficiency by introducing a high level of homogenous mixing of coagulated water with microsand and polymer.
The Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR), a plastic carrier for growing biofilm to clean water, and Hydrex Specialty water treatment chemicals will also be on display.
Hydrex Specialty water treatment chemicals are designed to reduce maintenance costs and the effects of fouling and scaling while improving legionella control and membrane cleaning.
