Jacon Technologies has just launched an underground charge machine — the Charjet 3000.
The Charjet 3000 was exhibited at the Kalgoorlie mining expo in October for its first public outing and was well received by operators and mining professionals seeing, according to the company.
The machine comes with numerous steering options including four wheel steer, front wheel steer and rear wheel steer, allowing it to access tight cross cuts.
According to the manufacturer, the machine was designed with a speed of 28kph.
The machine is fitted with a second set of charging controls that can be used at ground level for down holes.
The Charjet has also an under deck 125 CFM compressor that can be activated to allow charging of headings away from the mine services.
The machine can be optioned with either ANFO or Emulsion charging with any of the leading explosive manufactures.
