Sandvik Mining and Construction has announced that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with International Mining Supplies for the worldwide supply of the Explorer plastic core trays and accessories.
The Explorer Core Tray is produced using highly UV stabilised polypropylene, which is designed to increase longevity in the field.
According to the company, the plastic core trays are safer to handle with no sharp edges, stack safely for transport and storage, are non-magnetic for easy magnetic susceptibility readings, and will not rust in tropical climates.
The trays also feature built in handles, a labeling facility and clip in core markers.
