P&H MinePro Services has released the P&H 4100XPC Electric Mining Shovel for Rio Tinto Coal Australia’s Hail Creek mine site.
The P&H 4100XPC shovel provides a 104 tonne nominal payload capacity and is designed to operate in mines for high production loading of 218 to 363 tonne haul trucks and larger.
It also comes with an option for a 108 tonne payload capacity.
P&H MinePro’s electric shovel comes with a 62.7m3 Optima Plus dipper, which will allow it to three-pass load the range of 300+ tonne haulers at the mine site.
The shovel will also feature the P&H Centurion Control System.
This new electric shovel also provides a variety of benefits, including reduced carbon emissions, and larger payloads allowing for faster cycle times.
