Low-voltage variable speed drives

Schneider Electric’s Altivar 61 Plus and Altivar 71 Plus are low-voltage variable speed drives for high power ratings, from 90 kW to 2400 kW.

Altivar Plus drives are pre-engineered to suit customer requirements, saving time during design, quoting and ordering.

The drives are factory tested and delivered ready to go, providing further savings during installation, commissioning and startup.

Both the Alitvar 61 Plus and the Altivar 71 Plus are said to be suitable for synchronous or asynchronous motors and have been designed with safety in mind, with integral Cat 3 / Sil 2 safety input, as well as an optimised cooling system and components that have been proven and tested in full-load operating conditions.

According to the company, the Altivar 61 Plus is ideal for fans, pumps and compressors, while the Altivar 71 Plus is suitable for conveyor belts, mixers, extruders and lifting gear.
