Sperian have launched the Miller Techline Horizontal Life Lines for safely working at heights.
The personal protective equipment is engineered to be used in applications where overhead anchorage is not present.
Able to support up to two workers at a time, the life lines features a 16mm polyester high visibility low stretch lifeline for improved performance and reduced deflection.
Constructed with high abrasion resistance, the lifeline is designed for durability in tough conditions while reducing fall clearance requirements.
The Techline includes two heavy-duty cross arm straps which secure the lifeline to an anchorage point using a self-locking snaphook, as well as a connecting ‘O’ ring which is used to connect a lanyard or self-retracting lifeline to the life line for increased worker mobility while working at heights.
The horizontal life lines also include an In-Line Shock Absorber which is designed to limit fall arrest forces to 11.2kN.
Zinc plated Line Adjustors are used to adjust the length of the rope, indicate proper pre-tension and maintain proper tension.
