Heaters equipped for retrofit

  • Published: 30/06/2009

Fanquip has modified its electric heater fan technology so units may be easily retrofitted onto bathhouses used in mining and quarrying operations.

OH&S guidelines require that employee shower blocks incorporate adequate heating to protect the well being of workers.

According to the company, the fan heaters provide warmth and comfort for personnel during ablutions and deliver long lasting heating quality with minimum energy output.

The heaters are made of heavy duty galvanized steel to protect against rust and moisture.

They also have no naked flame heat generation to eliminate the risk of burns or workplace fires.

The heater fans range in element power from 3.0kW to 36.0kW with a 129,600 heat energy output.

The company also produces a mobile heater fan which is easily wheeled into position for any operation requiring its heat source to be moved.
