Geobrugg have released a number of products designed to prevent and minimise rock fall as well as ensure slope stabilisation.
Rock fall barriers
Geobrugg’s flexible rock fall barriers are designed for impact energies ranging from 100 to 5’000 kJ.
They have been successfully tested in a 1:1 field test and certified in accordance with the Swiss Guidelines for rock fall net approvals.
Slope stabilisation
The Tecco system is appropriate for stabilising steep soil, sediment and rock slopes as well as for retaining walls.
The mesh is anchored with soil or rock nails behind the sliding layer pre-tensioned at a defined force using spike plates at the surface.
Rockfall drape
The Tecco rock fall drape is a safe and economical alternative for situations, where the catchment area is too small and the calculated rock fall bounce heights as well as the expected kinetic energies are too high for a dynamic rock fall barrier.
MESHA
The MESHA provides a fast, safe and fully mechanised installation of Tecco and Deltax mesh for ground support in underground mining and tunnelling.
It is able to be quickly retro-fitted to standard underground drilling/bolting equipment.
