Festo has released the VSNB valves, which are designed to control both single-acting and double-acting process actuators.
The company says the valves can work with actuators fitted with a NAMUR interface.
According to the company, operators can chose between pneumatic or solenoid actuation and monostable or bistable control.
They can also chose from standard or explosion-proof pilot solenoids.
Festo says the valves feature a CNOMO interface between the pilot valve and the control valve, which can reduce maintenance costs by providing simple exchange of the pilot devices.
According to the manufacturer, the compact VSNB valves can be easily installed with small process actuators, even when they are required to be in close proximity to one another.
