Bonfiglioli has introduced an alignment-free configuration for its HD series of heavy duty drives, which integrates the motor and gearbox.
Its HD AFD mounting option is an alternative to laser-aligned baseplate types, allowing the use of close coupled IEC B5 flange mounted motors up to a G315 frame size.
The HD AFD’s varying combinations, with capacities up to 1722 kW and 150,000 Nm, complement Bonfiglioli’s Hi-Torque drives and permit easy assembly and maintenance of high speed components as well as fans, fluid couplings and brakes.
The models cut down on installation time as there is no need to laser-align the motor and gear shafts, while also allowing components to be removed and replaced without the need for re-alignment.
Bonfiglioli’s HD AFD applications include conveyor drives, bucket elevators, inching drives and other material handling equipment.
