ATF Mining Electrics has released the Series 800 multi-purpose flameproof enclosure, designed for Class 1 Zone 1 Ex d coal mine applications and can be used in any country that accepts International Certifications.
ATF Mining Electrics is a member of the Ampcontrol Group and holds an IEC Ex Certificate of Conformity for electrical apparatus in explosive atmospheres (IEC60079-0 and IEC60079-1).
The ATF Mining Electrics Series 800 multi-purpose flameproof enclosure can be installed in a range of hazardous area applications including auxiliary fans, pump stations and machine electrics.
The Series 800 enclosure replaces the Series 015 and, according to ATF Mining Electrics, offers the advantage of being compact in physical size, while being spacious internally, allowing for easy access to components within the enclosure.
ATF Mining Electrics said the enclosure can be manufactured in a horizontal or vertical position and fitted with an optional o-ring giving it an IP66 rating and can also be custom manufactured with a number of options to suit all requirements.
The Series 800 enclosure is fabricated with two separate compartments, an Isolator Compartment and the Main Compartment.
