Ansell releases chemical splash resistant gloves

  • Published: 22/04/2010

Ansell has launched its Touch N Tuff gloves for protection and splash resistance against hazardous chemicals.

The company says these nitrile gloves have been extensively tested for protection from commonly-used hazardous industrial chemicals and for maintenance and refuelling.

The gloves also offer a high level of puncture resistance when compared to natural-latex gloves.

Chemical permeation testing has confirmed that Touch N Tuff gloves offer high levels of protection against xylene, acetic acid, ethanol, perchloroethylene, triethylene, isopropanol, hydrochloric acid, ammonium hydroxide and cyclohexanone.

Touch N Tuff gloves do not contain natural rubber latex and are a suitable choice for people with a known or suspected allergy to natural rubber latex.
