Greyhound Australia has won BHP Billiton’s Olympic Dam 2008 Vendor of the Year Award.
The company became the sole ground transport provider for BHP Billiton’ Olympic Dam site last year, taking employees to and from accommodation villages and work
BHP Billiton Vice President Finance Paul Dunn and Manager Supply Peter Morichovitis said the company displayed admirable performance in key evaluation criteria.
According to Dunn, Greyhound won the title because it took pride in its safety, customer responsiveness, contract transition and start-up, delivery performance, equipment standard, staff culture and community support.
