SPECIALISED Mining Services (SMS) will be launching a number of Strata Control products developed specifically for mining, tunnelling and construction work on Stand B1105 at AIMEX 2007.

According to SMS, these products provide superior alternatives to conventional ground consolidation type grouts, watersealing and ground support products, in cost effectiveness, safety and performance.

The new products are: Insta-Grout range of products from ISO, for ground consolidation, water sealing, gas sealing and cavity filling; Tunnelguard from Zetachem, a high-strength spray-on membrane for strata support and sealing, with a wide range of environmental and mining applications; Tunnelflex, also from Zetachem, a spray-on waterproof membrane for dam sealing; and NOH2O from Sovereign Hydrology, a waterproof injection compound that forms a solid, flexible impermeable rubber membrane.
