Stirling taps into QLD zircon

Stirling Resources has acquired high grade zircon assets valued at more than $4.5 million in Queensland.

Stirling has completed all necessary approvals for the Tiwi Island and Cape York zircon projects and is now the owner of all acquired tenements.

The company has identified high grade zircon resources at the Cape York Zircon project and hopes to begin a significant exploration program at the site.

Stirling also hopes to re-commence mining at the Tiwi Islands zircon project as soon as possible.

The acquisition is a strategic move for the company to focus on investment opportunities in zircon, copper, gold, coking coal and iron ore assets.
