The council has also introduced a separate category in its innovation awards, dedicated to rewarding health and fitness initiatives.

Eligible health related innovations include initiatives on ergonomic enhancement; health assessments; human factors; fitness for work programs; health surveillance; occupational health risks; and specific health risks, like the ageing workforce and obesity.
Eligible safety related innovations will include solutions to specific OHS issues involving design and redesign of equipment and machinery; introduction of new or improved OHS management processes; development of safe work procedures; and development of new training and education programs.
