SANDVIK will display its solutions on Stands 208 and 5211 at AIMEX 2007 including presentations and information on its unique Automine system, an automated underground ore transportation system allowing operators to control and supervise semi-automated LHDs and automated dump trucks from a control room on the surface. Automating the extraction and hauling processes through Automine is said to improve the performance and productivity of a mine, mainly through increased utilisation, process control and optimisation of equipment.
