Power cables for coal mining

DRAKA Cableteq Australia will exhibit the TENAX power cables for coal mining on Stand H1098 at AIMEX 2007. Tenax cables for underground mining are designed to withstand high strain and extreme conditions, and be safe in conditions of high explosion risk. Tenax cables for both underground and surface mining are lightweight and small in diameter, allowing greater lengths of cable to be held on reels. Cables can be tailored to suit specific mine requirements, and incorporate such features as optical fibres, pilots and monitoring cores. The Draka Rubber Cable Group develops, produces and markets flexible, rubber-insulated cables to standard or specialised designs, including power and medium-voltage applications for mining and industrial applications.
