Hunter forum to debate open cut coal

THE Open Cut Coal Operations 2007 conference from 10 to 11 July at the Crowne Plaza, in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine country, will address port infrastructure bottlenecks and other vital issues affecting coal mining operations.

Speakers include William Hughes, a senior coal advisor with NSW Department of Primary Industries; Ian Nettleton, senior HR advisor with BMA Coal; Alan Copeland, ABARE analyst; Mark Walker, Immersive Technologies’ Regional Manager; Peter Tonkin, Director, Kinmont Engineers; and Des Caulfield, CEO of the Resources and Infrastructure Industry Skills Council.
