Exhibitors at the 2008 Goldfields Mining Expo, held at the Kalgoorlie Boulder Racing Club from October 28 to 30, are promising a large number of new product and services releases.

According to Reed Mining Event’s exhibition manager Soren Norgaard, this year’s show is set to be nearly twice as large as the last GME in 2006.

“Information provided by exhibitors shows that many are planning to launch or show products and services that have never previously been seen in Kalgoorlie or even Western Australia,” he said.

“With the industry looking for innovative solutions to a host of problems and issues, they have identified GME as an ideal way to promote their services to the mining industry.

“Because of this, we can be confident that all visitors to this year’s show will be rewarded with unmatched opportunities to see some of the latest mining solutions tailored to the needs of the Goldfields mining industry,” Norgaard said.

Norgaard said that GME was structured to appeal to the widest possible range of industry participants.

“A visit to GME will offer great value to all levels of staff working in the mining industry — from very senior management through to operators, engineers, contractors and end-users of the products and services on display,” he said.

Visitors to GME are encouraged to pre-register for the event through the GME 2008 website at www.goldfieldsminingexpo.com.au. Simply click on the “Register to Attend” button, and fill in your details. Alternatively, visitors can call the GME 2008 Hotline on (02) 9211 7544.
