AUSTRALIAN Mining invites editorial contributions and story ideas for its feature on attracting, training and retaining personnel in the March 2008 issue.

Attracting personnel to the mining industry is a difficult task, with demand for skilled workers higher than ever. Australian Mining will examine what it means to be an employer of choice, and explores the most successful and productive employee/employer relationships around the country.

This feature will explore the best training and education programs for underground and open cut operations, and give advice on how to keep your workers happy and productive.

To submit an article, propose a story idea, or send in details email ozmining@reedbusiness.com.au.

Submitted images should be high-resolution and in jpg format.

The editorial deadline for the March issue is 6 February 2008.
