Centenary Feature: Mine Safety 1908 - 2008

Safety is of the utmost importance to a minesite.

Today, workers want to know they are safe on a day-to-day basis.

In this special edition centenary feature, Australian Mining will report on the various safety incidents of the last 100 years that have, in turn, shaped the nation’s mining history.

The feature will also cover the latest technological advancements minesites across the country are employing to ensure their worker’s safety.

Editorial deadline is Thursday 16 October.
