Action plan for NSW mine safety

A NSW industry council seeking to improve mine safety has issued an action plan on how the State's mining industry can achieve world class safety standards.

The Mine Safety Advisory Council (MSAC) issued the plan based on a review of mine safety in NSW: the Wran Consultancy Project report.

The Council will oversee industry’s implementation of the action plan through educational programs.
