Project Engineer

The key purpose of this role is to provide support to the Study Managers in the Project Development Group by developing and monitoring budgets and schedules; and leading sub-components of studies such as infrastructure / plant design and construction.

Reporting to the Group Manager Project Development and based in our Group Office in Southbank, Melbourne, the key challenges you will face in this role will be managing competing priorities across different studies and ensuring that timelines for project deliverables are met.

The scope of the role will include:

• Assisting in developing the scope, budgets and schedules for studies
• Developing capital plans
• Obtaining approvals for various project activities to commence
• Managing consultants and subcontractors
• Carrying out risk reviews
• Periodic and Project Reporting

We require you to be an experienced to developing project engineer. In considering your application, we will look for a background in managing mine related capital projects or aspects of the projects. It is essential that you have a tertiary qualification in engineering. Domestic and international travel will form a key part of this role and you must be able to travel to various project sites and operations globally.
