MTi Group has released a Solo BlastBag borehole plug that is said to be the first single-handed, deployable, 2-speed BlastBag.
According to the company, the fully patented, 2-speed aerosol latch is able to operate in all temperatures from extreme heat to extreme cold.
The product can be deployed with one hand.
According to the manufacturer, users can press the trigger with a thumb to the first indent to activate quick inflation, or conversely, users can press the trigger to the second indent for slower inflation.
The product is said to utilize the only completely non-flammable, non-toxic aerosol propellant on the market, and is manufactured with a seamless aluminium aerosol can with a pressure rating of 20 Bar.
The product is available in eight sizes ranging from 64 mm through 351 mm.
Custom sizes are available upon request.
