In this issue of Australian Mining, the 6th annual Australian Mining Prospect Award Winners will be announced. With 85 entrants across 12 categories, the 2009 Prospect Awards has been a fantastic success. There were also record amounts of entries in the Minerals Processing Plant of the Year, Innovative Mining Solutions and Excellence in Mine OH&S categories. In this edition, each winner will receive a full page of editorial highlighting their achievements. Some of the judge’s comments will also be included to enlighten readers as to why each choice was made.
