Shotcrete technology

Rix Shaft Lining will feature Shotcrete technology for all types of shafts on stand 2360 during the 2008 Goldfields Mining Expo (GME).
The company’s new applicator is described as safe, fast, reliable and economical.
The applicator features remote controlled operation and a camera display for shaft inspection.
The unit also provides reports detailing Shotcrete, air, material and water usage, as well as before, during and after inspection reports.
The applicator can be used in inclined and misaligned shafts with diameters from 1.8 m to 8 m.
Established in 2000, the Rix Group also has underground robotic Shotcrete equipment and a remote Shotcrete Shaft Liner for ground support in mines and tunnels.
