Purpose-built vehicles

Skipper Trucks will feature its purpose-built vehicles for the mining industry on Stand 2344 during the 2008 Goldfields Mining Expo (GME).
A supplier of special purpose vehicles to mining companies such as Pilbara Iron, BHP Billiton and FMG, the company is Western Australia’s largest authorised dealer of Iveco, International and Mitsubishi Fuso vehicles.
The company offers vehicles ranging from 4.5 tonne GVM to prime mover applications with up to 131 tonne GCM and in 4x2, 4x4, 6x4 and 8x4 configurations.
Body fabrication choices are unlimited as the company creates tailor-made body conversions that include buses, crane and EWP trucks, hi-rail units, ROPS, service units, water tanks and waste vehicles.
“All of these can be built with any required modification,” Skipper Trucks’ representative Brandon McNee said.
Skipper Trucks has branches in Belmont and Bunbury, and a support network spanning all of Western Australia.
