SMC Pneumatics has released the XAN7002 portable data logger designed for monitoring compressed air consumption, including leakage.

The XAN7002 is battery powered and also provides the 12VDC power for use with PF2A Series Flowmeters.

The product is designed to permit monitoring in remote locations, on vehicles or transportable equipment.

The XAN7002 can take samples at frequencies from one second up to 12 hours and will store 32,000 readings, which are downloaded via a removable USB device.

High and low level alarms can be preset and the onboard clock can be programmed to set the start and stop time for sampling.

According to the company, this low cost data logging solution is easy to use and is supplied with the necessary software to provide graphed results, and permits customisation for individual reports and data tables.
