Mining services provider Bürkert Fluid Control Systems has developed a solution for faster and more effective pneumatic actuation in dirty and wet mining and mineral processing environments.
Integra Coal Preparation Plant serving Camberwell Coal and Glennies Creek mines in the Hunter Valley has improved valve switching speeds and operation, saved time and reduced costs in maintenance operations through a new solution for pneumatic switching.
The solution is a finalist in the 4th Annual Australian Mining Prospect Awards as it addressed dual concerns of protecting the pilot valves while ensuring
a high flow rate of pneumatic air delivered at the point of use.
