Stahlin has released a series of non-metallic enclosures that are corrosion resistant.
The enclosures are made from materials such as composite fiberglass which are not susceptible to rust or other forms of oxidation.

The enclosures are made from fibreglass.
According to the company, the enclosures are light weight yet still provide the desired impact resistance. Their weight advantage means lower unit costs directly related to reduced shipping as well as ease of handling and installation.
The enclosures are also said to provide the additional benefit of solar guard, a patented, double-protection formulation technology that significantly enhances the molecular bond strength and cross-linking that occurs during the curing process in thermosetting polyester sheet molding compounds.
The solar guard is said to provide additional protection with a unique additive that fights polymer degradation by making it more difficult for UV light to attack molecular bonds of both primary molecular chains and cross-links of the resin matrix.
