Process control, instrumentation and electrical engineering solutions company MIPAC has released the Process Advantage, a service solution designed to release the potential within operating processes.

According to MIPAC, Process Advantage offers a holistic approach to plant and process optimisation, by applying a four-phase technique: discover, develop, implement and support.

The four-phase approach allows MIPAC to optimise operations, resulting in higher throughput and yield, decreased waste and cost and deferred capital expenditure, the company said.

Process Advantage is designed to be applied at any level in the control hierarchy from basic regulatory control to plant wide economic optimisation strategies and, according to MIPAC, can be adapted to the life cycle of each individual plant, changing as the plant changes, resulting in continual process improvement.

“Process Advantage was developed with a clear intent of delivering our customers a solution that allows for continual improvement, without large capital expenditure,” MIPAC managing director Eddie De Rivera said.
