Interface card

Advantech has launched the PCM-3202I PCI-104 interface card, designed to allow direct data transfer between master and slaves without any operations in between.

PCM-3202I PCI-104 supports two independent Advantech Motion Network (AMONet) RS-485 master rings, with each ring controlling up to 2048 I/O points, 256 axes, or a combination of I/O points and axes for motion control.

The system is designed to save wires, cover long distances, and support high-speed real-time communications.

According to the company, the PCM-3202I supports transfer rates up to 20 Mbps and a maximum communication of up to 100 meters, creating a high-speed network.
