Engineered Bucket Solutions are finalists in the 5th Annual Australian Mining Prospect Awards for their new style excavator bucket.
Kevin Abbott and business associate Paul Tsaclis have designed and patented a new style excavator bucket that does not have a requirement for traditional heel blocks, has a curve in the lip and requires much less wear protection than a traditional designed bucket.
According to the company, the bucket design is far superior in maintenance requirements and has better production performance because it penetrates the ground easier and has a significant weight reduction over conventional buckets.
