Hydro De Wetter innovative solution

Daniel Hall

JS Melbourne Controls has designed a Hydro De wetter that is capable of mixing hydrophobic materials and powders in mining processes, without dust and heavy lifting problems with the mixing of ingredients.

The solution is a finalist in the

4th Annual Australian MiningProspect Awards.

Traditional mixing methods do little to avoid powders escaping into the air.

The Hydro De Wetter can mix hydrophobic materials like activated carbon, lime, fluke silica, and iodine, totally encased in pipe and avoids potential hazards with traditional mixing methods.
