Gladiator rumbles with slurry

HAWK Measurement Systems has launched a device that detects the level of liquid, slurry or powder in a tank or vessel.

According to the company, the device measures the admittance between a probe and the wall of a container, detects any changes to the probe and produces an output.

The company said the product can monitor materials with a range of dielectric constants and is applicable to a variety of liquids, slurries and powders.

The device communicates through a series of protocols and can be calibrated through remote technology.
