For the love of minesite trucks

GOLDILOCKS was missing in action when PJL Diesel Electric manager Scott Montgomery spied mama, papa and baby Caterpillar trucks at the Irian Jaya Freeport minesite in Indonesia.

Montgomery told Australian Mining the sight of three trucks grouped together in such a way was a photographic opportunity not to be missed.
“PJL Diesel Electric has a supply contract with Freeport minesite, so I visit the site twice a year and to see the 777 Caterpillar between a 797 and a 793 reminded me of the three bears fable,” he said.
