Embedded computer

Advantech has released the ARK-3399, a compact embedded computer designed to give flexibility to application developers through storage speed and reliability.

According to the company, the ARK-3399 is ideal for applications in digital signage and high-performance embedded control systems.

The ARK-3399’s aluminium chassis is optimised for Intel® Core™ Duo 1.66 GHz / Core2 Duo 1.06GHz / Celeron® M 1.06 GHz processors.

The chipset supports a CF card up to 8GB and 2GB DDR2 memory, and according to the manufacturer, offers improved graphics and increased I/O bandwidth over previous chipsets.

The ARK-3399 supports dual display mode for multi-media applications, with capacity for VGA and LVDS as independent displays.

The computer supports the operating systems Windows® Vista, Windows® XP, Windows® XPe, and Windows® CE 6.0.
