Conductivity meter

Jessica Darnbrough

Practical Control Solutions has released a conductivity meter that can be used in pure, ultra-pure and boiled water.

According to the company, the product can also be used for checking of ion exchangers, distilled water, deionised water, demineralised water and desalinated water.

The conductivity meter is encased in an impact resistant ABS enclosure.

The conductivity meter is said to have a resolution of 0.0001µS/cm and three conductivity measuring ranges of 2.000 / 20.00 / 100.0 µS/cm, as well as a resistivity and temperature measurements.

Conductivity measurements can be temperature compensated either non-linearly (to EN 27888), linearly with adjustable coefficient, or for NaCl solutions (to EN 60746-3).

The conductivity electrode is a two pole stainless steel type, 12mm dia. X 75mm long with a 1 metre lead.

The conductivity meter is encased in an impact resistant ABS enclosure and is supplied complete with a 9V battery, according to the manufacturer.
