A COMPANY that manufactures underground communications equipment has released an Integrated Communications Cap Lamp (ICCL).
The PED System is an ultra-low frequency communication, control, and blasting system.

Low frequency (ULF) electromagnetic signals penetrate through hundreds of metres of rock.
The personal PEDs displays messages up to 32 characters in length.
On reception of a valid message the cap lamp will flash and a buzzer will sound. The message is displayed on a backlit LCD. The units will store two messages.
