Broadband power amplifiers

Teseq has released a range of RF broadband power amplifiers, suitable for EMC immunity and susceptibility testing.

The amplifiers cover frequencies to 6 GHz and have output powers to 1100 watts.

According to the company, the amplifiers are all class A and are capable of operating safely in open and short circuits, with low distortion, and linear performance.

Powered from a switched mode power supply for high efficiency, the amplifiers are available with a various frequency break points, allowing optimisation at various power levels.

A safety interlock connector is also provided which the user can short circuit to ground, putting the amplifier into standby mode.

According to the manufacturer, the class A design ensures a high reliability, low distortion linear performance across the frequency range.
