Big lift for Goldfields

Daniel Hall

GOLDFIELDS Crane Hire has added a 70 t GR-700EXL Tadano rough-terrain crane to their Tadano fleet.

“The current water reservoir project we are working on in Kalgoorlie is ideal for our new GR-700EXL which can manoeuvre into tight positions,” Goldfield Crane Hire managing director Rick Mussara said.

The GR-700EXL has off road credentials and a huge reach of 44 m.

The crane boasts full floating axles, rigid mounted front and pivot mounted rear suspension and electronic controlled full automatic transmission.

The turbo-charged six cylinder diesel engine delivers 166 kw of power and 705 Nm of torque.

The crane has a five section partially synchronised telescopic boom and two staged triple offset jib capable of lifting 70 tonne.
