Anti-scale water systems

MCS Systems will showcase its Turbu-Flow (TUF) anti-scale water systems on Stand 1134 during the 2008 Goldfields Mining Expo (GME).
Water high in calcium is known as hard water.
While hard water is not a health risk, it brings about the formation of ‘lime scale’ on pipe work, appliances and equipment, which can lead to increased maintenance and eventual equipment failure.
It also has poor soap and/or detergent performance compared to soft water.
Turbu-Flow protects against lime scale (calcium carbonate) deposits in such water.
According to MCS, TUF prevents build-up of lime scale, removes pre-existing scale, requires no maintenance, does not use any chemicals and needs no temperature considerations.
According to the company, prevention of scale build up means equipment lasts longer and operates more efficiently, meaning less downtime.
